What’s one wedding moment that still sticks with you?

In general, I always love the father daughter dance and equally as much I love the time in the back of the ceremony with the bride and her dad – I always stay back for a moment to let them have their time! Its a very special moment to get to be part of.

What does a “successful” wedding feel like to you?

A successful wedding means that the family was able to relax and enjoy the day. Bride and Groom felt it was perfect and the vendors felt like it was a smooth and easy day!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The connections that come out of working so closely with someone for months before the big day!

What detail has the biggest impact on guest experience?

I think passing wine and water upon arrival is a must. It helps the bars, it helps your guests feel welcomed and it’s just a nice touch!

What’s one thing your teammates would say about you?

I think my teammates would say I am dependable, trustworthy and sweet!

What’s your ideal Saturday when you’re not working a wedding?

Lounging at home watching a movie with my kids and husband.

We knew we had the right wedding coordinator for us from the moment we met Alyssa! We left our first meeting with Alyssa in tears … she was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding coordinator. She had a reassuring presence… coupled with such kindness and the ability to make us feel at ease. We immediately put our trust in her and it was the best decision we made! She did a great job of organizing us and seeing our vision. Her communication was prompt, clear, and was always available to us. We so appreciated her years of experience, opinions, advice and recommendations. She handled the vendors with ease and professionalism. She made it all look so effortless! We could not have asked for a better person to not only coordinate all the moving parts, but to share in this very memorable day. EVERYTHING I WANTED

Alyssa Walz was our wedding coordinator at Simple Elegance. At 4 months out we began meeting monthly, and right away she started handling and managing so many aspects of our wedding. She reached out and went to multiple vendor meetings, scheduled, and attended our tasting dinner, sent monthly emails with upcoming tasks that needed to be done, created a newsletter to send to family and wedding party regarding the wedding weekend info, and created our rehearsal and wedding timelines. She continually kept in contact with both my mother and me to make sure all steps and details were figured out. She helped manage stressful and difficult decisions, while also helping to make sure everyone’s side was being heard. Alyssa also provided so much information to help answer any question I had. She even has a google drive folder that she shares with you that had a wedding draft timeline, itinerary draft, wedding tips, example photography shot list, wedding item list, and much much more. Alyssa was there to help manage the rehearsal at the church, stopped by my parents’ house to get any items needed for the ceremony the night before, and made my wedding day the smoothest most stress-free day by coordinating and taking care of all the details with my vendors. She even made sure both my husband and my bags and purse were in the car as we left our reception. I cannot say enough great things about Alyssa. My mother and I are so grateful for all the time, effort, and support she put in to helping us plan my wedding. It was everything I wanted, and I owe a lot of that to Alyssa!

Alyssa was amazing! Her expertise was so incredibly helpful – there’s no way I could’ve planned our wedding and coordinated all the vendors without her! She was organized and extremely detailed.
