Simple Elegance Wedding Consulting Firm, LLC was born in 1996 from Kindra’s love of weddings and her strong desire to help people during this exciting time in their lives. After her graduation from the University of Kansas, she went to work for Hallmark Cards, Inc. She left Hallmark Cards, Inc in 1996 after becoming certified by Weddings Beautiful and Simple Elegance began. Kindra has planned hundreds of weddings as well as grown Simple Elegance into a Multiple Award Winning Consulting Firm.
Kindra’s keen eye for organization, detail and design and her sensitivity to each client and their event have propelled Simple Elegance to the top in Kansas City, not to mention her ability to hire a GREAT team! She is a member of the National Bridal Service Association and serves on the board of The Preferred Wedding Professionals Association, an invitation only association that brings together some of Kansas City’s finest vendors. She has been interviewed and her weddings have been featured in various publications including The Knot, KC Weddings, The Perfect Wedding Guide, The Independent, 435 South, EA Bride, Johnson County Living, The Olathe Daily News and The Kansas City Star. She has been featured on “Fox 4 in the Morning,” “Kansas City Live,” “ Fox News at Noon,” and the Walt Bodine Talk Show.
