We are pleased to introduce you to our SE Seattle team member here at Simple Elegance, Lindsey Lozama! After living in Kansas City and working as a wedding and event planner with Simple Elegance for almost 3 years Lindsey moved to the Pacific Northwest to start a new chapter in her life. With this move, new experiences have come. Lindsey has been working for 2 years in the Seattle catering industry as an event planner. She has enjoyed planning catered events in multiple Seattle and Bellevue venues as well as venturing throughout the area to bring event planning and catering together. While this has been a fantastic learning experience Lindsey is excited to get back to her wedding and event planning roots by helping bring Simple Elegance to Seattle. Organized, with a passion for detail, Lindsey is excited to help Seattle area brides bring their wedding dreams to life. In addition, she loves to assist with planning and executing life events and corporate functions. After getting married to her husband at Snoqualmie Falls in 2013, Lindsey has fallen in love with the area and all it has to offer. Growing up in the Midwest and graduating with a degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Iowa, Lindsey is ready to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and the endless activities that Seattle has to offer.
We asked Lindsey a few questions to get to know her better and learn some fun insights into who we are here at Simple Elegance. Here’s what she had to say…
Status: Married in suburbia with a seven month old baby boy named Benny and a large adopted furbaby named Teddy.
What is your favorite summer activity? My favorite summer activity would have to be either the going to the beach or having friends over and grilling steaks on our back deck.
Where would we find you on a Friday night if you aren’t busy working? On a friday night I am either at home with my baby and husband or grabbing dinner at a local sushi restaurant!

Favorite place to visit in Seattle and why: I love Alki Beach! You feel like you are a million miles away from the city and the views are gorgeous. It is also a fun place to picnic and very dog friendly.
What wedding trend are you loving right now? The jumpsuit! It’s so fun!
How would you describe your personal style? My style could best be described as classic yet comfortable. However, if I am at home it would be best described as yoga pants. 🙂
What book is on your nightstand? “What to Expect: The First Year” What can I say, I am a new mother.
What is your favorite season? My favorite holiday is Christmas! Usually, we spend it with family back in the Midwest, it is a wonderful time for all of us to get together. Plus, my parents have seven grandkids so the house is always full with kids running around. Complete chaos, but I wouldn’t want it any other way!
What do you love most about your job here at SE? This is a tough one for me, I love the people I work for and wish I could see Kindra and Holly more often. I also love that I was given the opportunity to start a Simple Elegance location in Seattle, this really is my dream situation!
