Alyssa + Jonathan’s Gorgeous KC Wedding and Reception at The Brass on Baltimore
Included Spanish traditions in their ceremony. They bride’s parents presented the couple with arras (gold coins). The groom then gives the coins to his new wife as he pledges to care for her and the home they will build together. The bride receives the coins and commits herself to working with her new husband to use the gifts they have to care for all in need. Then the groom’s parents wrapped the couples’ shoulders in a lazo in the form of an 8 (infinity symbol). This symbolizes their everlasting union.
