Emily and Adrian’s wedding was absolutely one we won’t forget!
The day started out beautifully with the sun shining and as we time passed and the closer it neared to the ceremony clouds have moved in. We had planned for the ceremony to take place out in the courtyard area of the Timber Barn. We kept checking the radar as there was a chance of a storm to hit, but looked like it was going to pass us. Around 6:15pm the weather changed drastically and the 30% chance of rain turned into a tornado warning with downpours and heavy winds. Guests were moved inside and under shelter due to the tornado warning. going to look like due to their being a tornado warning, that we were going to start the ceremony as soon as the sirens had stopped in Weston. With no end in site for the weather to pass anytime soon, we proceeded with the ceremony in the barn. It poured the whole time as the ceremony took place, but the clouds soon cleared after ceremony and Adrian and Emily were able to go outside and take some pictures together. We all weathered the storm and it turned out to be a beautiful evening with a gorgeous rainbow. We told the couple that they had double luck with not only rain and rainbow on their wedding day but a tornado too! 🙂 The Father of the bride made a comment in his speech that referred to when they see a rainbow from now on it will remind them of their love they have for one another and their very memorable wedding day.
