Katie + Phillip

This wedding was so very elegant with shades of purple and touches of silver throughout the church and reception at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The bride opted to not have bridesmaids and only had her brothers stand by her side. It was very special to see Katie’s family members sing and played the oboe during the ceremony. One of the most fun things was the escort cards, as they were rocks with slits for the cards and guests  were able to take with them. The sign by the escort cards, said, “Mr. & Mrs. Philip & Katie “Pet Rock” sky welcome you to their wedding reception. Please take your escort card & feel free to take your new pet rock home at the end of the night. We love when elegance and fun come together especially when it is surrounded by the deep love shared by Katie and Philip and their families.
