Real Weddings: Katie + Tim

One of the most intimate and emotional weddings we were fortunate enough to be a part of was Katie and Tim’s special day. When we first met with the couple they were planning a traditional wedding with a large guest count and a full wedding party. Shortly after our initial meeting, we found out the Bride had become ill and fought a difficult battle and had won! Through that experience a lot of the dynamics of the wedding had changed.

After the ceremony was over, Katie got to the back of the church and burst into tears.  It was a moment of joy: joy at being married to Tim, joy that the planning was over and most importantly joy that she is alive to experience it all with her closest friends and family!  Being witness to that was a very blessed moment.
