This jewish military wedding had the perfect setting at the National World War 1 Museum at Liberty Memorial. Lauren and Dave met at a mutual friends wedding and Dave’s dance moves caught Lauren’s eye. They began a long distance relationship as Dave is stationed in the Washington D.C. area where he is a blackhawk pilot for the U.S. Army. The Bride was stunning in a classic vintage style halter gown and the groom donned his formal dress blues along with his military groomsmen and ushers. Their first look took place in the galley of the museum, where Lauren walked along the hallway where images of WWI heros posed along the wall to greet her man in uniform. Photographer, Chris Mullins [iamchrismullins.com] took his expertise to new heights with some AMAZING images captured atop the Liberty Memorial tower.  The museum’s theater was a fitting spot for their vows sealed with a kiss under a traditional Jewish huppah constructed by the Bride’s father. An originally planned outdoor reception on the Liberty Memorial deck was moved inside quickly with the Kansas City storm clouds that were swirling above. Guests mingled during cocktail hour on the glass bridge looking over the poppy field, remembering fallen soldiers below. The sweet sounds of Private Stock packed the dance floor and a special serenade by Dave and his comrades reminiscent of a certain bar scene in a movie you may have heard of … [Top Gun], made the evening one to remember. 🙂
